What’s The Fashion Today?

Sunday, September 21st, 2008

Do you abhor the idea of being a little behind the trend? Do you dote on fashion and unofficial local expert on the latest fashion trends? Well, it’s a difficult position to maintain, as fashion trends can change by the week, not the season, as many believe. If you live in LA, you know what I mean.

Of course, New York, Milan and Paris are the world leaders in fashion; but many of these creations are not handy for a woman walking on the main street. However, that does not mean that you are not aware or do not understand what makes haute couture today. This helps you to predict what tomorrow will be Next Big Thing, or the latest trends in haute couture fashion forward.

Experienced fashionistas know that fashion has only so many faces and that history repeats itself. The look of the 1960s is now a second aspect. To survive the curtain call, the fashion trend needs to develop along a more focused, with a sense of the authentic flavor of this decade.

When economic times are changing for the worse, skirts come. Prosperous times are evident in race short skirts. Rebellious attitudes are often reflected in radical clothing. If you study the wardrobes of modern history, the latest fashion trends of the past 150 years reflects the events in the common life of man.

For example, in the years preceding the Civil War, times were good and dear, as Scarlett O’Hara (Gone with the wind) wore dresses made of incalculable meters of silk fabric of the most beautiful, with an abundance and lace cuffs. At the time, it was the latest fashion trend, especially in the South. Since the war, the ladies could not get the clothing or equipment. As Scarlett regret over a big, raw wool, the old fashion trend has given way to new, despite its desires, with less of a practical fabric weave.

When you conduct a review of costumes over time, you get to see the cycles and patterns of all the fashion trends. When you also correlate the period of history with the dress, we can predict what will happen to the line.

If you want to be trendy, here’s a secret. Given the thorough study of costume and history, with careful observations of New York, Paris and Milan shows, you, the passionate fashionista should be able to inform your friends that future trends the fashion is. How?

There is a marketing term that refers to the strategy of rapidly gaining ground in a market, with the intention to address the large markets through a back door strategy. This term is early market. ” The beginning of the market trend is the haute couture.” It’s that simple. See if you can not copyright the latest fashion trends!

Fashion Conscious

Fashion magazines and shop mannequins generally view the appearance of perfection in terms of  what to wear and how to be a success fashionista. Some of us do not have that elusive flair for fashion and try to develop a great costume for a special occasion that falls flat on our face !  Sometimes the question is not what to wear, but what not to wear. Let’s look at some warnings of fashion to help you avoid inappropriate selections.

Say you’ve been invited to a wedding. The occasion warrants a special dress, right? You have to remember not to outdress in  the wedding! Although the choice of a shimmery, glittering shawl during this fabulous dress may be beautiful and well suited to a hot dinner date, it will not work for weddings. This suit is in fact too good. You will get much attention, but the guests may try to distance from you. This is a classic case of what not to wear.

How about a warm dinner ? Perhaps your date is the conservative type. Wanting to impress your date with your vital statistics, you opt for a fine wool suit and a string of pearls. Guess what? This is another what-not-to  error. Although conservative, a sexy dress that is not too revealing, paired with high heels and delicate, shiny jewelry will make him proud to be with a woman beautiful.

Today, your dilemma is what to wear  for lunch with your girlfriends. This date is not to appear impressive on men, but a casual date with friends.  Do not let your show of insecurity by “dressing to the nines” or being too elegantly dressed. You can alienate your friends and feel underdressed. Go casual and charming, as befits the occasion. Tall, shiny boots and short skirts are the epitome of what not to wear here.

Office dress is often overlooked by aspiring fashionista. At work, it is important that you dress professionally. Unless it’s the office Christmas party today, stick to classic styles and unpretentious daily wear.

In summary, wear something that fits the occasion. Be yourself so that you may not feel uncomfortable for any reason whatsoever.

One last tip, if the guy who asked you for a date is just your size, do not wear high heels!

Wearing a size of over 16 does not mean you must sacrifice style when buying clothes. Although in recent years many methods are used for full-figured look . One example is a shapeless bag covering every curve of your body, yet this is no longer the case today. Now, women in this size range are finding that they can carry a wide variety of styles that will flatter their curves and accentuate their positives. Some of the most famous designers have even jumped on the train of full-figure fashion, offering their own great designs for women of all sizes. However, it can be difficult to know how to dress the body in the most flattering way without a few fashion tips under your belt. Pants are one of the biggest concerns when shopping for  full figure clothes, because you want a pair that will strike a balance and offer proportion for the rest of your body. Straight legs, boot cuts and flares may work well for the plus-sized figure. Put balance with a top that is not too soft and not too tight. A high-waisted dress will draw in the narrowest part of your body and give you a beautiful hourglass shape, which certainly a style to look for. In addition, do not be afraid to go with a woman cut lace design or other embellishments that will add a romantic touch to your look. Remember to opt for hems that fall at or just below the knee, unless you are looking for a long dress for a business. To find a better selection of models,  figure  your shopping deals, or check online for many popular styles of designers. Some sites are devoted exclusively to over-sized clothing, there is a great opportunity, you will find exactly what you need, if you’re looking for business clothes, held the weekend or wear. The advantage of shopping on a site committed to fashion and figuratively, is that these styles are often tailored to be more flattering for women in this range, giving you a better chance of finding a number of pieces you feel good in .
